FLOWERS
FOR WORSHIP SERVICE
PROCEDURE FOR
ORDERING AND DELIVERY
If
you would like to use the wooden container that Chuck Johnson made it takes a
5” mache’ container. It is
usually kept in the closet behind the cross.
1. Persons contributing flowers will make arrangements with a
florist of their choice for a bouquet or plant. Also flowers from your garden,
tastefully arranged, are most welcome. Many
grocery
stores
sell lovely potted plants.
2. Floral expenses begin at $25.00 and should not exceed $35.00
3. Request the florist to use a container that need not be
returned.
4.
Since the church building is usually locked when the building is not in
use, special arrangements must
be made for delivery of flowers. This
can be done in several ways:
See
list below for florists who will deliver to the church or
bring the flowers to the church around 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

6. If you wish for the flowers to be given to someone special,
please indicate your choice to the Deacon in Charge.
Otherwise the minister will designate where the flowers are to be sent,
either to one of our church families or someone else in the community.
7. Please call the church office (372-3882) early that week for
the particular wording in the upcoming
church bulletin.
The
bulletin insert Sunday will read…flowers are given to the Glory of God by ...........
If
you would like something else, please call the
church office by Thursday.
Thanks,
Annette (372-3882)
