Fairlawn Preschool under the umbrella of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church was established in 1968. The basic philosophy of the preschool is:

	to nurture the growth of children within the structure of Christian fellowship.
	to welcome children of any race or religious belief.
	to strengthen family life and guide development through parent education.
	to provide scholarships for children otherwise financially unable to attend.

The objectives of the preschool are:

	to help the child develop a positive self-concept
	to provide an enriched environment which offers the preschool child the opportunity to grow emotionally, socially and cognitively.

KELLY GREEN SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Since the school's beginning, scholarships have been provided to over 300 children from low-income families through the Kelly Green Scholarship Fund. Some funds for scholarships are raised through annual events, but the majority of the funds depend on donations from individuals and community organizations. Contact the preschool office for additional information on donations or applications for scholarship.
